Area Sales Manager B2B


Louis Poulsen (LP) is a Danish lighting manufacturer born out of the Scandinavian design tradition, where form follows function. We are represented all over the world and now we are looking for an Area Sales Manager B2B to work in Germany for the area in South primary in Stuttgart, Munich and Nurnberg. In this position you will also be sales responsible for the areas outside the big cities.

About the Role

You will be a key person in creating an excellent design solution with outdoor products for our customers and having their requirements, image and brand in focus while using the unique products from Louis Poulsen. You will handle B2B visiting customers like landscape architects, designers or municipalities where you will have focus on creating long-term costumer relationships, maximizing sales and marked position for outdoor business. The position is a full-time position where you work from home. You will be reporting to the Country Manager in Central Europe.

Your Responsibilities

  • Increase sales in the BtB outdoor business
  • Develop and advise Louis Poulsen’s customers – bring LP outdoor in focus
  • Search for new opportunities in alignment with Corporate Strategy
  • Promote Louis Poulsen outdoor products and brand – ensure LP reputation as a serious high-end lighting supplier
  • Secure that customers are informed about outdoor products (existing and new), FCA, lighting philosophy, promotion activities and events
  • Organize and participate in customer events in specific area
  • Follow-up on sales activities and campaigns
  • Maintain and up-date CRM system and establish new customers
  • Participate in relevant fairs (national and international)

About you

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager who is excited about the challenge and sees this as an opportunity for professional longterm growth. We expect you to have a design and or technical background and minimum 3 years of experience from a similar position where you had built up a wide customer network. We prefer candidates who has been working with high-end outdoor lighting. You will have a mix of these qualities and skills:

  • Out-going self-starter and committed to achieving goals
  • Experienced and existing network to key stakeholders in outdoor lighting
  • Presentation & story telling skills
  • Interest in premium design and have good lighting- and technical knowledge
  • Strong communication (verbal and written in German and English) as well as good planning and presentation skills
  • Experience in use of CRM systems and Power Point
